As a newly appointed S.E.C Security officer, you begin your afternoon shift at a seemingly ordinary spa and indoor pool. Your job is simple: patrol the facility and ensure its security. But as the night wears on, you stumble upon remnants of the past—a trail left by a former guard who disappeared under mysterious circumstances. The deeper you delve, the clearer it becomes that this place is anything but ordinary.

Dear Players,

I am thrilled to present to you "Epheminal," my very first venture into game development using Unreal Engine. As a passionate hobbyist, I poured my heart into this project, working in my spare time to create an intriguing experience. However, I must be candid with you—this game is far from flawless. It does contain bugs, glitches, and imperfections as I navigated the challenges of game development as a complete beginner.

I am humbled and grateful to all of you who are willing to embark on this journey with me. Your support and understanding mean the world to me. Please approach this game with an open mind, knowing that it comes from a place of genuine enthusiasm, even if it falls short of AAA standards.

Thank you for joining me in this adventure, and I eagerly anticipate your feedback as it will undoubtedly help me grow and improve with my future projects.

I really enjoyed your game, but sadly could not pick objects with LMB for some reason, so couldn't progress. Keep up the good work!

Thank you so much for giving my game a shot! I'm really grateful that you attempted it, and really appreciative that you enjoyed it! That last cube that you had trouble with, is a little finicky. It works just the same as the others, but the interaction system I use for interacting with those cubes is kind of janky. In order to fix it, I would probably have to unravel everything and start from scratch. I have another system I'm attempting to implement, but no promises for an update at this time. If you would like, feel free to attempt it again, but stand back a little ways from the cube and try picking it up with a held left mouse, click. Getting it over the ramp, might push it into your face but it will go over. I'm sorry for the hiccup and long work around, I do appreciate your time regardless. Thanks again!

Your game starts at 00:33. Great Work! You mixed all the liminal spaces in to one experience that flowed effortlessly. Our computer doesn't play well with some of the games lighting but that is on us. The puzzles were a good tool to direct us to the next area. Having static play when the entity was near warns the player and adds tension which is smart. We didn't see the entity in our recorded session but did on the previous playthrough. The magazines and newspapers were a excellent detail. We skipped the notes during recording as it didn't seem to add anything for us. The final jump for the last key got frustrating as it had to be perfectly done. Overall fantastic game and an impressive first project. Hope to see more from you!

Thank you very kindly for your time and review! I'm glad you enjoyed the project and am really appreciative you are willing to take the time to play through the whole thing. Cheers and look forward to plenty more here in the near future!
