The Silent Vault is a brutalist structure hidden from the world, known only in whispered folklore. Those who enter never return, as the vault is said to bridge our reality with another. Players must navigate through four interconnected rooms, each containing cold, tomb-like chambers sealed by puzzles. The goal is to escape by unlocking the vault’s chambers while gathering hidden treasures, though the vault’s true purpose remains unknown.

Hello everyone! I wanted to share a finished project I recently created for my Unreal Engine 5 Courses. Had a lot of fun creating it and really getting into Blueprinting. Anyways! The Silent Vault is simply a project showcase. That being said! You can Start and Finish the game and experience the short adventure. Plenty of ambient sounds, atmospheric effects and even some collectables along the way! Feel free to take a journey through The Silent Vault.

Feel free to reach out if you want access to the GDD! You're welcome to use it as a template if you need some GDD help! Inside the zip folder you will also find a user manual I set up for the game. Thank you!

I'm in the course now. Looking at the screenshots, I can't wait to see it play. I can't right now because I'm on a crappy PC. Will play on my gaming PC after work. I'm pretty stoked about being in the course myself. I'm glad you posted this because I've been meaning to network with other people that are in or have taken the course, but that seems to be a challenge for some reason.

Awesome! Have fun and reach out to me if you need some help in course 8 lol it can be a bit of a mess some times. Good luck and thanks for taking the time to play later! 🤘

Fun so far. I'll be honest. I'm having a hard time getting out of the second room. lol. I haven't mastered the jumping or double jumping. I'll plug away at it. I'm not great at using the keyboard and mouse. I'm a controller person. Anyway, I know this is just a showcase and maybe it's just me, but I would have liked it to be a bit easier to jump and have more time to have the double jump to get to the next room. Will play some more tomorrow to see how I fare. I would love to get to the next rooms.

Just finished! This was pretty fun; the double jump was a bit buggy. You accidentally used a static mesh instead of the actor for the trophy in the middle to end and used mods to get through that area. This has a lot of potential, and I can't wait to see how it'll turn out! There were little to no bugs, which I found, which is really good! But honestly, I'm not sure how the "Liminal" vibe would fit into Parkour; it doesn't feel right (not like Liminal space feels right, but like it doesn't fit). You could create a different environment that could fit with it better; a good example of a parkour horror game would be Finding Frankie.

There is a hidden Trophy in that area to set on the left pedistol! It was over in those planters toward the rear lol I didn't indicate too well on that part, I'll admit. I appreciate your feedback! This is just a showcase for what I learned, but I have been wanting to expand on these mechanics and build something to the likes of parkour. A lot more movement abilities though! And the atmosphere wasn't entirely intended to be Liminal, more Brutalist but I will work it some more and maybe get something bigger rolling for the future. Again, thanks for playing! I appreciate your time and feedback!

I'm going to play this, and give feedback. Sorry I forgot to playtest one of your other games, couldn't figure it out.

Just got the virus warning, it's just Windows Defender. MalwareBytes doesn't care!

Yeah others have said that, I only assume false positive because I've downloaded it to other machines in the house and haven't got flagged. Some type of false positive, unfortunately. Sorry about that, thanks for taking the time to play though!

Virus detected. Lmao

Sorry that happened! Just the game and pdf manual so I'm not sure why it's getting a false positive.
